Commission​

Assess the SIMCO site —validity of the published information, navigation, display on mobile devices, visual design, and audiovisual and text content— and prepare a redesign covering: graphic proposal, usability, AA and AAA accessibility, typography and color, and visual, audiovisual and text content for desktop and mobile. Develop the site's master page, the home page of each site, internal pages and subsites, and create content lists, libraries and query pages.

Project​

Redesign and implementation of the front-end of the Colombian Museum Information System to improve the user experience and visual design, within the cultural heritage outreach activities planned for 2020.

Solution​

Giving priority to information accessibility, the redesign proposes a sober and functional interface that also incorporates the Online Government guidelines.

Public data visualization module​

It takes the SIMCO report service and turns it into charts with the aggregated data. I commissioned the code from @laurajunco; the D3.js code is in simco-dataviz.
